Bothar
Bóthar, an organization based in Ireland, collects charitable donations to purchase native honeybees for families in Uganda, Tanzania, Ghana, Cameroon and Zambia. Families receive a gift of honeybees along with training in beekeeping, harvesting and marketing of honey and wax. Each family agrees to save money earned from the sale of honey and beeswax to pay for training and honeybees for another family. In this way, the gift is multiplied over time and many families and communities benefit.
