Like fine wine, flower nectars from the region where it is gathered flavor this natural sweetener. Its taste changes with the seasons and the weather. Just as the bees search for the best nectar, Green Toe Gardens brings you our raw unfiltered honey, harvested organically with no pesticides. We are also proud to bring you diverse flavors from small-scale varietal beekeepers throughout Michigan.

Wild Detroit Honey

This honey was named the Michigan Beekeeper’s Association best of show, 2005. Inner city honey with an ever-changing flavor: from a light flowery mint in the spring to hints of butterscotch in the fall.

8 Mile Honey

This honey has a slight carmel tone and is great with apples.

Blueberry Blossom

If you close your eyes, you may taste a hint of blueberry or lemon! This fruity honey is harvested from spring blossoms in Berrien County, Michigan.

Buckwheat

With its rich molasses flavor, it is often called the most healthful honey in North America.

Peace Honey

Our most subtle honey, it is an Alfalfa honey from St. Charles, MI. This light and soothing honey will blend in well with tea and baking.

Red Clover

Much more interesting than ordinary clover honey. Tastes like the smell of a field of red clover on a sunny summer day. We bring you this honey from St Charles Michigan.

Star Thistle Honey

Considered Michigan’s premium honey. Has a tangy, anise flavor. From Kalkaska, MI.

Troll Honey

From the pristine air of Bliss, Michigan, bees harvest this rich and complex honey from the blossoms of basswood, star thistle, goldenrod and more. Harvested in the fall, 20 miles south of the Mackinac Bridge.
